  Head Coach

Hello! My name is Aaron van der Leek. This past year, I have been working towards completion of my graduate degree in Pedatrics. As for swimming, I have had over 20 years of aquatic experience and my final role (before retiring last year) was as a captain of the Ualberta varsity swim team. For coaching, this will be my six year coaching summer club and my fourth year with Huma! I’m thrilled to be seeing you all again this summer and I am excited to see all we can do as a club!!! Go HUMA!

Hello, HUMA swimmers and families. My name is Gregory Farmer and I am very excited to be coaching with HUMA this coming season! A little about me, I swim for the Golden Bears varsity swim team and I am finishing my 3rd year of my Bachelors of Kinesiology. I look forward to meeting everyone, and making this season a great one! Hello Huma! With our season fast approaching, I cannot wait to get on deck! In the meantime, I am finishing my second year of a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta. This will be my fourth year coaching with Huma and I am very much looking forward to meeting you all.  Get ready for a great season…GO HUMA!

Hello! I am super excited to be back for a second year as a coach with HUMA. I am currently finishing my third year of my science degree at McGill University, where I also compete with the men’s varsity swim team. I am looking forward to an awesome summer of swimming.

Hello! I am very excited to be coaching for HUMA this season! This past year I have been studying at University of Alberta doing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, while swimming on the Panda’s varsity team. Hello HUMA Juniors! My name is Lindy Justice and I am very excited to be moving up to a coaching position with the HUMA Junior program. I have been a coach helper for the past 3 years and have been a HUMA swimmer for 7 years. I recently signed an NCAA scholarship to play water polo at McKendree University (Midwest USA). I will be studying sciences with a major in biology.
