SwimSkill Instructor

Qualifications:

· Clean criminal record and vulnerable sections check

· Bronze Medallion/ Bronze Cross Certificates

· WSI, LSI or Swimming 101/Community Sport Coach

Role:

The Swim Instructor oversees a designated class during each session. You will plan swim lessons based on our SwimSkills Program. Gain meaningful experience teaching lessons and managing children of varying ages. This is a great opportunity to develop work experience in the pool industry!

Our program runs 3x a year:

Fall session: September 27th-Nov 25th, 2022

Winter session: January 9 - March 8, 2023

Spring session: April 5th - May 31st, 2023

Shifts:

INSTRUCTORS

• 15 years of age
   
• Bronze Medallion/ Bronze Cross Certificates
   
• Water Safety Instructor Certificate or Swimming 101
   
• Prior Instructor or Swim Club experience an asset
   
• NLS and/or Standard First Aid certificates an asset

COUNSELLORS

• 14 years of age
   
• Bronze Medallion/ Bronze Cross Certificates

• Prior Swim Club experience an asset
