3rd Annual TRU WolfPack Inv Swim Meet

June 7 – 9, 2019

The Kamloops Classic Swim Team hosted the 3rd Annual TRU WolfPack Inv Swim Meet June 7 – 9, 2019. The meet hosted 502 swimmers from 23 clubs from Alberta, Northwest Territories, Yukon and BC. The Classics won the meet, winning a total of 74 Medals (30 Gold, 23 Silver and 21 Bronze) and had 4 new club records set. Outstanding performances included: Sienna Angove in the 11-12 Girls age group winning 6 events in the 100/200 Breaststrokes, 200 IM, 50/200 Freestyles and 200 Back while setting a new club record in the 200 Freestyle.   Ryley McRae in the 15 & over Boys age won 4 gold medals in the 200 Fly & 100/200/400 Freestyles. Ryder Litke (12) in the 11-12 Boys won 3 gold medals in the 50/200 Breaststrokes and 100 Fly while setting a new club record in the 200 Breaststroke. Jake Gysel in the 13 – 14 Boys age group won 50/100/200 Breaststroke events. Ethan Jensen in the 15 & over Boys age Group won 3 gold medals in the 50/100 Flys and 400 IM.  An additional new Club Records were set by Jackson Litke (16) in the 15 & Over Boys 50 Back, and Shale Maurice (10) in the 10 & Girls 50 Fly while winning a Gold.

The following swimmers achieved 100% Best Times at the meet; Aria Chase (7/7), Gwenna Faupel (7/7), Katelyn McGillis (8/8), Bailin Li (8/8), Allison Ring (6/6), Paige Stoudt (8/8). Max Prelypchan (12) had 100 % best times while winning a Bronze medal in the 100 Breaststroke and achieving  5 new Tier 1 Provincial  times, Caillen Gillespie (12) haslo had 100% best times while winning a Silver medal in the 50 fly and achieving 3 new Tier 1 Provincial  times, Katie Franks (12) had 100% best times and was 7th in 50 Breaststroke and Lily Eckerman (12) had 100% best times along with a 6th place finish in the 50 Breaststroke.
