YES Swimmers -Young Enabled Swimmers

The KISU YES program is for swimmers with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. The water allows these athletes a freedom that many never experience on land. The Canadian and International Swimming Associations have a well-developed program to allow these athletes to participate and compete with one another.

YES swimmers have two 1-hour practices each week.

Due to the nature of the disabilities of some swimmers, this program cannot run without volunteers.  Parents are required to either volunteer with the program, or work with KISU to provide a volunteer to assist their swimmer if they are unable to do so.
