4. Bingo Commitments and the Bingo Buy-In / Buy-Out Policy

        Bingo commitments:

   Sprocket - Maximum 3 shifts

All other groups - Maximum 6 shifts

Bingo Shift Options - This year we offer our club members 3 options to manage their bingo commitments:

Option 1 - Work all assigned bingo shifts.

                        Option 2 - Buy-Out: Sprocket Families: $375; All other Families: $800

Option 3 - Buy-In: Work your base number of bingos and then receive $115 for each additional shift towards your fees.

Your Bingo preference will be recorded during the Part TWO registration.

NOTE: Due to AGLC rules, all Bingo and Casino shifts must be completed by either member/parent or a close family member. Shifts may also be completed on the member's behalf by other club members. Only representatives known to the club are allowed to perform this commitment on a member's behalf. No member is allowed to pay anyone to perform this duty for them.

Please note, as per Club policy, those members who do not fulfill these commitments are liable to be fined.

5. Fundraising Commitment

KSC fundraising activities go toward reducing program fees for all members. ALL members have a minimum fundraising commitment amount of:

$100/per swimmer - for your first 2 swimmers

$50 - for your third swimmer

$25/ea - for fourth and additional swimmers.

The full amount of your fundraising commitment will be invoiced to your account at the beginning of the season. Through KSC fundraising events, each member can receive credits to their account for their fundraising activities to a maximum of this fundraising commitment. Members are encouraged to participate in all KSC fundraising activities, and to raise more than the minimum commitment to assist with special funding programs and mitigate future fee increases. The deadline for meeting the fundraising commitment is 31 May of each year. Should a member not meet their commitment by this date, the balance between the funds raised and the minimum commitment will remain as a charge on their account, which will be due with the 1 June payment.

KSC runs various types of fundraising events throughout the year:

                        i. Swim-A-Thon (Spring)

                        ii. Raffles

                        iii. KSC Silent Auction (mid-Winter)

Fundraising events may be added as determined by the Board. Members with fundraising ideas are welcome to propose these to the Board for consideration.

From time to time, to assist in the funding of particular training activities (for example international training camps) the members may choose to undertake additional fundraising activities. ie. Purdy's, bottle drives, wreath sales, etc. These activities will be in excess of the minimum fundraising commitment and will not count towards that commitment.

6. Group changes

Group changes usually take place at one of two times during the year; in the first month of the season and in January. Your coach will discuss this with you, should your swimmer be invited to change groups.

Please refer to the KSC Financial Policy to better understand your Club commitments in the event of a group change.

7. Electronic Registration

We are pleased to offer a fully electronic registration with esignature documents. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you to easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.

Please register your swimmer into the group to which they have been assigned!

Thank you for working with us to make this Registration process as simple as possible. Please ensure you have completed the Registration process by the deadline indicated in the email to ensure you retain your swimmer's place in their respective group.
