From Team Unify, our website provider: We are excited that your team's more mobile-friendly website is "live" and sports a fresh new look! You will see a new forward-facing website, or "front end". Please take a moment to explore the home page and menu items to figure out where your favourite and most-used features are located. Click the SIGN IN button at the top of the site, enter your credentials, and you will discover a new "back end" business side that houses all of your information and tools. Use the side menu to navigate yourself through the "back end". Please note these changes: the "back end" is designed to let you access most everything you need through the new side menu without needing to return to the “front end”, such as registration and events. You can easily get back to the “front end” by clicking VIEW TEAM WEBSITE… in the lower left, which will open it in a new browser tab. Click the browser tab with the “back end” to return there. Each side menu tab can help you find where things are on the re-organized platform. You will see a TEAM RESOURCES menu item. This contains information and documents reserved for club members that used to be found on the “front end”.

We sincerely hope you enjoy your upgraded site! And everyone PLEASE be patient with the transition - if you can't find it it does not mean it isn't there!

Congratulations to our 100+ swimmers who raced at the Western Ontario Swimming Championships in Brantford last weekend. There will be a full re-cap of our results in the "NEWS" section of our new website, but special congratulations here to first time Provincial Championship qualifiers Jonah Eagleson and Paige Elliott (OYJ) and Lenka Myatt (Festival), and to first time All-Time Top 10 Performer Ciaran Buyse; and also to our 15 swimmers who achieved 100% personal bests: Kyle Ball, Aliyah Baron, Whitney Coome, Luke Degiorgio, Simon Drolet, Charlotte Dyer, Abduallah El Tatawy, Ryan Jaberi, Tolga Kartoglu, Declan Nolan, Keaton Smith, Grier Stokley, Evan Thomas, Martin Todev, and Jayden Wang. 80 tickets have been purchased for our Monday, March 30 excursion to the Pan-Am Pool in Toronto to watch Maggie MacNeil and the rest of our competing swimmers on the first day of the 2020 Olympic Trials. It will be an all-day event and will cost approximately $95 (payment required at a later date), which includes transportation, admission to both preliminaries and finals of the Trials to watch all of Canada's top swimmers race for spots on the Olympic and Paralympic teams, a 2 hour training session at the Markham Pan-Am Pool, lunch, dinner and special event shirt.

At CHOCC practice from 6-7am on Sat.Feb.1 (Age Group Gold/Silver/Blue/Bronze swimmers not at WOSA Champs) a pair of DARK OLIVE GREEN COLUMBIA BOOTS were lost. Clinics: Still to come.  Keep watching.

WOSA Champs: I worked the first 4 sessions at Brantford on the weekend and saw some familiar faces in the crowd.  I hope it was a great weekend for your swimmers! Nice to get out on deck again as a regular official!

Official Registrations – I have personally sent out an email to the people who still need to confirm their Swimming Canada official accounts.  There are still quite a few LAC Officials who have received at least 1 registration email from and have not responded as instructed in the email.  Another mailing was recently sent out to new and previously unconfirmed accounts.  It would be helpful if people could respond to these as instructed in the email.  All you need to do is: sign on to your officials account, click on the My Info at the top, make any changes as required to the info and then even if you do not make any changes scroll to the bottom and click on the Save button.  If the email is from then it is unlikely to be SPAM or Phishing and you can safely respond.  This is REQUIRED in order for us to activate your account.  It is important to LAC that officials are activated in this way as it affects our ability to host meets.

If you have any officiating questions please contact me, Mark Lukings L.A.C. Co-Club Officials Chair at
