2023 Western Championship Result
From March 16th – March 19th, seven Langley Olympians Swim Club swimmers attended the 2023 Speedo Western Championships. This meet was held in Calgary and hosted over 400 swimmers from across Western Canada. Langley swimmers places in multiple event and ended up ranking seventh overall.
Fernando Lu (15 Years, Men’s 14-16 Category) placed first in the 50m Freestyle with a time of 26.26. He also placed second in the 100m Backstroke with a time of 1:10.93, the 100m Breaststroke with a time of 1:22.74 and in the 100m Butterfly with a time of 1:05.28.
Jihoon Bae (15 Years, Men’s 14-16 Category) placed second in the200m Freestyle with a time of 1:58.29.
Alexia Morgans (14 Years, Women’s 13-15 Category) placed third in the 1500m Freestyle with a time of 18:25.42.
