VIRTUAL CLUB SCHEDULE (Beginning Monday, May 4th)

General Info (group specific down below):


This yoga session is first come first serve up to a maximum of 25 participants and is open to swimmers in COMP 1, 2, and 3 ONLY. The session will only run if there are 20 total participants so please attend! The session will be recorded for senior swimmers and younger swimmers who didn't make it in to do on their own time.


This will be some type of "view it", "fill it out", "think about this" assignment. The responses we get from these assignments will be incorporated into the weekly podcast. This will not be time intensive and is meant to educate and engage athletes with their own swimming or swimming history.


We will be conducting periodic events similar to the connect a thon on our instagram page. Stay tuned for more news!


Each weekend Lachlan and Eric will be putting together a podcast, to be released each Monday. The pod will cover swim community news, fun segments about the swimming world, guest hosts, and a segment where we answer questions that were sent in over the course of the week to Podcast will be released in both audio and video formats for LSC club members only.


Sessions will be high intensity, 30-40 minutes in length, and focus on body weight strength with no equipment needed. Athletes are expected to be on the call at the start of each workout otherwise they will miss critical aspects of the warm up.

To keep things simple there will be recurring zoom links sent out to each group for their workouts as well as for yoga. These links and accounts are being set up now and will be ready to go for Monday. As soon as they are ready links will be emailed out as well as posted on this page!

Group Specific Info:


Monday night at 6 PM Eric will be running a swimming mobility session for the kids to help them learn some basic swimming movements that they can easily transition into the pool. This will not be intense work but it will be very helpful!

Wednesday night @ 5 PM C3 will have exclusive access to Coach Donna and the live yoga session. This will be a great opportunity for the kids to connect face to face with one of their regular coaches.

COMP 1/2

Zoom workouts will all be run by Lachlan. As per the schedule above each group has an additional section with Eric each week that will look similar to Comp 3's "Swim Mobility" workout. That session will take place on the same zoom call as the workout! Swimmers will also be encouraged to complete some additional home workouts during the week.


There will be three zoom workouts per week on Tues/Thurs and Fri. It is important that swimmers continue to complete home workouts over the course of the week. Weekly testing will continue to happen, although the day for weekly tests will be moved to SATURDAY starting on MAY 2nd!

Any schedule changes will be emailed out to parents. A weekly club wide email from Eric will go out with the release of the podcast each Monday.

** Saturday practice has been dropped as of Jan 12th in favour of a new Sunday slot at Alderwood. This is a nicer facility that will allow us to add some dryland programming back into the schedule as they will be providing us with access to the multi purpose room following swim. **
