These swimmers are focusing on qualifying for Ontario Provincial standards with future goals of achieving National standards. These groups trains 10-14 hours a week and requires the most dedication and commitment to our sport. The typical age range for this group is 13 & Over. Good work ethic and effort on a day to day basis is also required.  Athletes are committed to an aerobic/IM development and aspire to swim eventually in University. Swimmers and their families are expected to assist with fundraising (Swim-a-thon, hosting competitions, etc.) throughout the season and be ambassador's for our team, province and country.

JUNIOR

DEVELOPMENT

FUNDAMENTALS

This is a group designed for the developing swimmer.  This is a skill orientated level where the swimmers will learn the basics of competitive swimming and be given opportunities to compete regionally with the possibility of participating in an out-of-region competition if the opportunity exists.  The typical age range for this group is 11 & Under. It is a fun environment with the skills of the sport intertwined.  It is at this level where the swimmer is challenged to perfect all the basics of the sport like the four different strokes, starts and turns.  Our goal is to keep it a fun and relaxed environment that will encourage the swimmer to move on in the sport. Swimmers and their families are introduced to fundraising (Swim-a-thon, hosting competitions, etc.) throughout the season.
