Christie McMann Recipient of Gord Noddle Award

This past week, coaches, officials, administrators, and all around supporters of swimming in Ontario come together for the Swim Ontario 100 Years Gala, Awards, and Hall of Fame Dinner. At the event, Mighty Barracuda parent Christie McMann was recognized for her dedication to the sport of swimming as the recipient of the Gord Noddle Award. On or off the deck, she can regularly be found teaching new parents the ropes, supporting the development of new officials, working late into the nights to organize meets, and giving her weekends travelling to meets and supporting the athletes directly on deck. She supports NKB as a whole and drives the Eastern Ontario Region forward as a community working to support all our athletes. She supports para swimming, Special Olympics, and Masters programming alike.
Being honoured with this award is a testamant to all she does for NKB and swimming from the Regional to National level, particularly on the officiating and volunteering side of things.
