Not one but two Stingrays - Aly Whitmore and Clarke Morrison have made the roster for the NCAA Division II Swimming Team at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia ( the only Canadian university that competes in the American-based NCAA program). Swimming Canada is holding an inaugural online sweepstakes from July 4th-July 28th to raise funds to help swimmers at all levels reach their goals and share in their success on the podiums leading up to, and including, Paris 2024. The Stingrays was represented by 9 swimmers this past weekend at OSC. 5 of the swimmers qualified for finals and had a great showing with podium finishes by 2 swimmers - Claire Thorne and Maksym Klakov.
