Stingray Alumni to Unleash the Sting at 2022 FINA Swimming World Cup

Let the countdown begin… Our very own Newmarket Stingrays Alumni, Maksym Klakov has been invited to swim at the 2022 FINA Swimming World Cup. Read the Newmarket Today Article.

 

This event is very special as Canada hosts its first FINA Swimming World Cup event in more than 20 years! More than 450 athletes from 40 countries are expected to compete for an overall series prize pool of $144,000 US.

 

Toronto will be the second of a three-stop tour this fall, as the short-course swimming series touches down at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, which has welcomed such major events as the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, and two Olympic Swimming Trials.

 

Plan to attend this spectacular three-day action-packed 25m swimming event featuring Elite athletes which will run from Friday October 28th until Sunday October 30th at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, the Competition Pool features permanent gallery seating for 2277 people plus 24 mobility aided seats.
