Volunteer Officiating Obligation for 2022-2023 Season Club Hosted Swim Meets

Swim meets are the second largest source of club revenue behind membership fees. Swim meets are a critical component of a healthy swim club and provide all our swimmers opportunities to race.

In order to run meets the club rely on membership to volunteer. Without volunteers, the club cannot host swim meets. Members earn participation credits for volunteering. These credits go toward the yearly Participation Credit minimums detailed in your membership package. Any credits earned beyond the minimums go towards next year’s swim fees.

Each family is required to work a minimum of six session over the three meets we will be hosting this season. There is a $100 fine per session not worked. Our three meets will be in November, March and April.  There will be many opportunities to meet the six-session requirement. Volunteering at a meet is also a great way to meet other parents and provides the best views for the meet.
