There are many variables beyond NYAC's control as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which may affect pool availability, schedules, groups and programs ("NYAC Programs"). If the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic causes NYAC to make adjustments to a NYAC Program for the Summer 2022 swim season which is fundamentally different from the NYAC Program disclosed to you at the time of registration and if such change affects you adversely, NYAC will allow you to withdraw from NYAC without penalty and any paid fees will be refunded or credited back to your account.

  • As a registered member of the North York Aquatic Club, signing into your private account delivers you access to your account balance, allows you to view/edit your contact information and current and past class histories.

To Register, please select/click on the grey bar below with the program you wish to enroll your swimmer in.

What is it?

The NYAC Waves program is a developmental swim program that introduces swimmers to the sport of competitive swimming. The goal of the program is to develop all four strokes with an emphasis on kicks: free, back, breast and fly. The swimmers will also learn how to function as a part of a group with the added element of water.

Who is it for?

This program is for new swimmers between the ages of 6-12 years. Teen Waves available for 13-17 years. Your child must be able to swim across a 25 metre pool without stopping. They do not have to have strong skills, but they need to be able to prove that they can be safe in the water, as during Covid-19 time, coaches cannot be the water with the swimmers..
