More details on TPASC operations and Vaccine Certificate Order

Leela D'Cruz

Dear NYAC Members,

The Province of Ontario has provided updates and documents that clarify their Enhanced COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate which begins September 22, 2021.

Patrons under 18 years of age entering TPASC for the purpose of organized sport are exempt from providing proof of being fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination is also not required for workers or volunteers including coaches and officials.

This means that swimmers under the age of 18 years and coaches will not be required to show proof of vaccination at the north screening station. Swimmers and coaches will need to pass screening, show identification, tap their card for contact tracing, and proceed to the pool with masks on until they get into the pool- TPASC mask policy is still in effect.

Adults (18+) accessing the facility, including parents or guardians of youth participating in organized sport will require proof of vaccination.

Please see here for more detailed clarification on the Vaccine Certification program coming into effect on September 22, 2021.

Again, we would like to stress that these regulations are provincial mandates and not TPASC policies and neither NYAC nor TPASC can provide any other exemptions or accommodations.

We will continue to share any changes that we receive about TPASC or any other facilities,

Kind regards,
