What does Bingo have to do with my child swimming?

Bingo is a fundraiser.  Each month bingo profit sharing generates between $2,500 and $3,500 for our club. this money is put toward club expenses and helps to keep our membership fees low.

Where is Bingo held?

Bingo is held at the Red Barn, 172 Wayne Ct, Oshawa.  Phone number is 905-725-9164

When is Bingo?

OSHAC is very fortunate to have a dedicated time slot.  We staff the first four Sundays each month, 12 months a year 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Who can help with Bingo?

You must be 16 years or older.  Please be prompt and bring your friendly disposition.  You do not need to be a club member.  Helpers are paid $50 at the end of the shift.

Am I obligated to help with Bingo?

You do not have to help with Bingo.  If you take one of the 4 positions required each Sunday, you will be paid $40 at the end of the shift.  this is a direct compensation.  You do not receive points towards your volunteer deposit.

Will I receive training if I have never done Bingo before?

You can be trained upon arrival at the Bingo.  We do not call the bingo numbers and are only there to support the permanent staff of the Red Barn.

Can more than one member of my family help with Bingo?

Yes.  Some families consider this a family activity and will book two or more family members to work on the same evening.
