Through June and July the swimmers of Oshawa Aquatic Club attended four more championship meets: Central Region C Championships, Ontario Summer Festivals, Ontario Youth Junior Championships and Canadian Junior Championships. The Oshawa Aquatic Club Board and Head Coach Gord Sprung are plaesed to announce that Ally O'Connell-Gray (AG3) and Melina Englund (Varsity) have accepted these postiions for the next swim season. The Oshawa Aquatic Club had 37 swimmers compete at Central Region B Championships from June 6th to the 9th. The swimmers faced tough competitors and even harder mental situations and found themselves on top of many situations.  Over the weekend we had 149 individual swims and ended up with 47 top ten finishes. To qualify for B Championships you must attain a C standard qualifying time as a 13 and over year old swimmer or a D standard qualifying time as a 12 and under year old swimmer. These standards...

On April 10th, 2019 four OSHAC swimmers, Cassidy Cecchetto, Jack Kelly, Hannah Kolesnik and Alexanne Proulx, flew to Quebec City to compete in the Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships along with Head Coach Gordon Sprung and chaperone Kelly-Ann Kolesnik. MARCH 29-31 On March 29th, 2019, 51 swimmers from the Oshawa Aquatic Club ventured together on a team trip to the WAC Spring Invitational along with three coaches and four volunteer chaperones. The swimmers had a great time and saw a lot of success in the water. Through preliminary and final swims the swimmers achieved 200 top ten finishes over the weekend along with three club records.
