On April 10th, 2019 four OSHAC swimmers, Cassidy Cecchetto, Jack Kelly, Hannah Kolesnik and Alexanne Proulx, flew to Quebec City to compete in the Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships along with Head Coach Gordon Sprung and chaperone Kelly-Ann Kolesnik.

Over three days of competition the swimmers competed at the one of the highest level of swim meets in Canada and achieved personal successes.

The biggest story coming out of the meet is that Senior group swimmer Jack Kelly qualified for the Canadian National Championships, the top competition in all of Canada, with a new Senior Club Record time of 30.77 in the 50 breaststroke and also qualified to compete in finals that evening finishing 19th in the end.

The swimmers made the club, their coaches and their families proud in the way they carried themselves, approached their races and represented their club throughout the weekend. A big thanks to chaperone Kelly-Ann Kolesnik for volunteering your time over the weekend.

Congratulations to all four swimmers on their achievements over the weekend.
