Notice from the Head Coach: Hello Scarborough Swim Club, It’s certainly wonderful to see our Scarborough competitive program back in the water at TPASC in 2022. It’ll be even better once we see all of our SSA swim school back at it shortly too. While our TPASC lessons have restarted, we’ll soon have our TDSB facility in Wilfrid Laurier coming back online come mid-February. Once again, our competitive swimmers are as committed as ever during our at-home January dryland and mental skills programming. While our student-athletes have become so great...

While some swimmers performed at and close-to lifetime bests, others were making up some major ground with regards to big goals. It was certainly a successful rehearsal event, and the group continues to press-on toward O.J.I., and SCAR’s December Invitational to be held over the...
Hello Scarborough Swim Club, I’d like to start off this month’s newsletter by congratulating all our swimmers that competed at our first home competition in almost two years. It was very rewarding to see everyone lined up behind the blocks and racing again. When I think back at all we’ve been through as a team from March 2020, it certainly brought a lot of emotions to the forefront. While the team remained engaged and connected during the Ontario lockdowns, this competition experience really showed us that we truly made it...
Hello Scarborough Swim Club Members, Our October 30th Time Trial was a lot of fun and long overdue. It's hard to believe we took part in our first competition in over 19 months. It is truly something when we think about the time spent out of the water. Nevertheless, where there's a challenge, there is also opportunity. We all know our story of how we survived and thrived over the last year and half, and it was certainly a wonderful sight to have racing provided to our swimmers once again....
