If you have multiple swimmers from one family, please complete this form separately for each swimmer.  The club will confirm your swimmers appointment prior to the assessment.

SCAR Swim Academy (pre-competitive):

If your swimmer is 6-12 years old and has had previous swimming instruction, a new swimmer assessment is required before registering your child.  Click here for more information about our SCAR Swim Academy program.

Competitive Program:

If your swimmer has previous competitive experience and you are interested in joining the Scarborough Swim Club, a tryout is required. The tryout will allow us to place the swimmer in the most appropriate group to maximize swimmer skill development and enjoyment . Please note, SCAR strictly adheres to the Swimming Canada Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Model, which means that group placement is based not just on skills, but also on age and physical size & strength.
