Another great night for the Pirates! Dakota Dotzlaf finished 4th in the 100 Backstroke and qualified for Alberta Spring Championships, which will be a long course meet held in Edmonton in two weeks. Aspyn Curry-Punk  fought a tight race in the 200 Freestyle to bring home BRONZE! All in all, this was very good weekend for both girls. They got a lot of valuable racing experience. I was proud to see each of these young ladies—over the course of the weekend—overcome setbacks and disappointments to finish on a really high note! Keep working hard Pirates!

With the meet moving from Edmonton to Red Deer….We needed to update the training calendar.   We are not holding practice Friday and Saturday (Pre Comp is still on).   Monday we will be back to normal schedule. Below is some Red Dear info and Nutrition 4-1-1 found in the team handbook. RED DEER The Red Deer pool area was not designed with hosting meets in mind. For parents, the viewing area is very limited.  I believe most people rotate out onto a balcony to watch. Swimmers should be equipped...
