PSW sent 16 swimmers from the Youth and Senior programs to compete in Moses Lake, Washington at the Sizzlin' Summer Splash July 12-14. The meet was held outdoors at a water park and it was incedibly well run. Sea Wolves shone at this competition at all levels, with heat win motivation provided by the competition. PSW sent 6 swimmers to compete at the BC Open water Championships on July 8 in Victoria, BC. This is our biggest team yet at this event. We had one open water training session leading up to the event, and every swimmer successfully completed their races: 13-14 Girls: 2km Viviana Li 9th 13-14 Boys: 2km Sergey Chernomorchenko SILVER Peter Chu 18th 15&Over Girls: 5km Zadie Fack 14th 15&Over Boys: 5km Tristan Schanz 12th Darby Walsh 16th Great job PSW!

PSW sent 17 swimmers to compete at the BC Summer Provincial Championships July 4-7 in Victoria, BC. Swimmers from the Junior, Youth and Senior programs all competed along side one another and supported each other throughout the meet. Although the days were long and the pool deck was quite hot, our swimmers managed themselves incredibly well and the coaches were very proud of this. Congratulations to all the swimmers that competed at Age Group Championships in Chilliwack! PSW sent 26 swimmers who competed through the long days and sessions, but ended up rising to the occasion and as a team  raced to many huge best times!! Great job on the improvement PSW!! Swimmers that achieved 100% best times were Tia A, Alex C, Leila F, Elden W and Raymond Z. We had many new qualifiers attend the event across multiple groups in the club, making our attending team a little bit larger than in the Winter....

This past Sunday was our Year End BBQ event held at Sunnyside Park. Thank you to everyone who came out to support a great season. A special thanks to the volunteers who made the event run so smoothly. PSW had 28 swimmers compete this past Saturday at the SKSC June Jamboree. Each swimmer raced 4 events in this quick 5-hour competition. Congratulations to Sea Puppies and Sea Wolves for rounding off their year with the Richmond mini-meet this last Sunday! PSW had 25 swimmers partake in the event! This past weekend PSW had 32 swimmers compete at LMR Championships. It was a very successful meet with many swimmers dropping an astounding amount of time in a handful of events, if not all their events. We had four new Age Group Championship qualifed swimmers: Eunsoo Oh, Tia Allwood, Max Wu and John Liu. All now able to compete in Chilliwack at the end of this month! 11 Swimmers from the Senior Program competed in Victoria this past weekend at the Island Medley Challenge. Not only did many swimmers make their first final ever, but many had the first opportunity to swim more than one final per night. Going into this meet we had a strong focus on IM and distance swimming and these were both executed extremely well.
