Message for Parents:

Hello Prospect Parents,

I would like to bring attention to the importance of your swimmer’s independence during practice. This comes partly from having space between you (their parent) and their coach. It is difficult for the coach to do their job effectively and for your swimmer to give their coach their full attention under the close scrutiny of watchful parents.

Of course there is no hard and fast rule about people sitting on the bleachers and watching practice. And of course we are happy to have interested and engaged parents. It’s just that the bleachers are very, very close to the ongoing practice. I’m sure everyone can appreciate that there are better and more helpful places for you to be during that time.

Thank you for your understanding.
