What's New:

  • Do you have the OnDeck app by Team Unify? If not, you should! It is free for all TU users. Once you download the OnDeck app  can access your account, events, news, job sign up, etc in real-time. It is an excellent app to use and provides instant updates and notifications!!!
  • Today is the Deadline to Decline Junior Provincials Friday, Feb 15th. (Cougars, Juniors, Prospect).
  • Today is the Deadline to Decline Prairie Champs Friday, Feb 15th. (Anyone with AA times).
  • No Swimming for Pre-Competitive & Junior Dolphins Feb 18th-24th.
  • Saturday March 2nd: Prospect & Junior practices at U of R 5:45-8:15am.

  • ***Announcement***Giselle Marcotte has graciously agreed to officiate at Trials at the PanAm Sport Centre in Toronto  April 3rd-5th. Thank you to Giselle, this is great for our team and will help to grow our  officials!
  • Community Partnership with Regina Open Door Society & Dreambrokers: The Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim Team is very pleased to announce the start of our Partnered After School Swim Program which began February 4th at the Lawson.  With funding from the Community Initiatives Fund, and generous support from Aquam, we have partnered with the Regina Open Door Society and DreamBrokers of the Regina community schools to bring a significant number of children to the Lawson for our JD Learn to Swim Program on a weekly basis. Many of these children otherwise do not have the opportunity to attend swim lessons, and this partnership with the community is a way for us to give back. See (info) for more information on this project.
  • Vegas Raffle tickets have gone out to all the swimmers, this is one of our major fundraisers. 15% is retained by the club as per the Handbook, and the remainder of all ticket sales go directly towards your swimmer's fundraising account.  If you sell more than your fundraising requirement the remainder becomes a credit on your account. (info) Ticket draw will be at the Broken Rack Tuesday, March 5th at the Pasta Night. (info)
  • Chase the Ace Fundraiser @ The Broken Rack every Tuesday from 6-8pm.  Come out and support the Team and have a chance to win!! (info)  Please help us out and sign up to sell tickets for 2 hours. 10 volunteer points/session. All the sessions to sign up for the year are on the event page. Congratulations to Dan Rashovich who won on Tuesday night! We have raised close to $1000 for the Team, and the pot is at $577 if the Ace of Spades is drawn!!  Parents please come out to socialize this Tuesday night and take part in the fun! You might be the lucky winner!!!

  • Georgina Syrgiannis Swim Marathon Friday, March 1st. Please see  (info) Parents please  sign your swimmer up for this event on the Event page. Deadline to sign up Weds, Feb 27th.  Click on the blue runner at the top of the TU Event page to find your swimmer and update their information. You have the ability to send out via email or social media to ask for donations. 10% is donated to Regina Palliative care, 15% is retained by the club and the remainder of all donations will go directly to your fundraising account, any extra $$ raised will be a credit on your swimmer's account.

Online officials course now being offered for 2 online officials e-learning opportunities that are available (Intro to Swim Officiating and Safety Marshall). Mass officials clinics will still be offered in Sask.

We strongly encourage all Rods members that do not have their Level 1 officiating course to take this online course, especially if your swimmer is a Prospect or Pre-Competitive swimmer. For those interested in accessing the online learning details clic here

  • ***Officials Needed***  The Regina Masters Swim Club is hosting masters swim meet on Saturday, March 2nd.  They are in need of stroke judges, turn judges, timers and safety marshalls. Please contact Fiona Cribb at  fdcribb@sasktel.net , if you can help at one of both sessions. We appreciate that the  Masters have been helping us our at our meets, and we would like to continue to support each other in this way.
  • The schedule is: Session One: warm-ups: 8-9 AM; competition: 9-11:30 AM.   Session Two: warm ups: 11:30 - 12:30 PM; competition: 12:30 - 3:00 PM
