Hello ROW, After much review of available meets late in July, the coaching staff has confirmed the last meet of the season will be Speedo Far Westerns, in Moraga, California, July 25-28th. Travel dates will be July 22-29. Pricing is being put together now for this meet. The reasoning for attending Far Westerns over attending Canadian Junior Championships in Calgary is largely due to the similar travel expenses, a facility not at altitude to enhance better racing and more swimmers will qualify to race. ROW MARCH UPDATE Over the past couple of weeks, ROW swimmers have been competing at provincial level meets. While at provincials, Natalie Peterson won a bronze medal in 100 Back and a silver medal in 200 Back, while Alex Rus qualified for his first provincial finals in the 200 fly finishing 7th. Matthew Berton placed 8th in the 400 IM. Both Matthew and Alex fully qualified for Eastern Canadian Championships in Quebec City in April. Montreal Meet Recap    The Montreal meet proved to be very successful for ROW swimmers. Top honours goes to Alex Rus, 14, racing in multiple events in both heats and finals, qualifying in 5 provincial events. Congratulations Dale! The ROW Board of Directors would like to congratulate Dale Cressman on being voted our Volunteer of the Year. Dale was recognized and received his award at the Kitchener Sports Association's Volunteer of the Year Event on Tuesday November 27, 2018.   Dale is a long time member of ROW as a parent of a Senior swimmer and as a Masters swimmer himself.
