Fall Break Out 2019 – First Meet of the Saskatoon Goldfins Season

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club kicks off the 2019 - 2020 competitive season with a trip to the Queen City to compete in the Regina Y’s Men’s Marlins/Flatland Swimming, Fall Break Out 2019, Regina, SK, October 19 & 20, 2019, Lawson Aquatic Centre.

This meet facilitates three sessions throughout the weekend.  The first session’s events have been selected to compliment novice and developing swimmers' abilities.  The Goldfins White 1 - 3 swimmers will be representing the Club in this session.  The second and third sessions will feature events suited for all Goldfins Age Group swimmers.  

The Goldfins will be represented by 97 swimmers at this first meet of the season.  Goldfins will race in 606 individual events and in 3 relay events throughout the weekend.

 

The meet’s schedule is as follows:

Saturday, October 19, 2019 – Session #1 – Warm-Up: 8:30 AM & Competition: 9:30 AM

Events Include: 4 X 50/25 Free Relay, 25 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle, 50 Fly, 25 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, 50 Breaststroke, 50 Backstroke, 100 Backstroke, 200 Fly, 200 Breaststroke

 

Saturday, October 19, 2019 – Session #2 – Warm-Up: 3:00 PM & Competition: 4:00 PM

Events Include: 4 X 25 Medley Relay, 100 IM, 25 Backstroke, 400 IM, 50 Backstroke, 50 Breaststroke, 100 Freestyle, 25 Fly, 200 Backstroke, 50 Fly

 

Sunday, October 20, 2019 – Session #3 – Warm-Up: 08:00 AM & Competition: 09:00 AM

Events Include: 4 X 50 Medley Relay, 200 IM, 100 Fly, 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 400 Freestyle, 800 Freestyle 

 

The Regina Marlins/Flatland Swimming have requested officiating assistance for this meet.  If you are interested in officiating for one or two sessions, the link to the officials sign up is below:
