Goldfins Welcome 4 New Goldfins to the Goldfins 2020 Senior Provincial Team
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club competed in the 43rd Annual Goldfins Invitational – November 1 – 3, 2019, Shaw Centre, Saskatoon, SK. The Goldfins were represented by 82 swimmers who swam in over 900 Preliminaries and Finals events. The Goldfins are pleased to announce four new members to the Goldfins Provincial Team: Kai Burke, Victoria Darling, Zoe Benning, and Jacey Lutze achieved Saskatchewan AA Short Course Qualifying Time Standards which qualifies them to attend the Man/SK Senior Provincial Championships in March 2020. Klaire Lamont will join the Junior Provincial Goldfins Team that will head to Moose Jaw, SK in March 2020 as she achieved a Saskatchewan Short Course A Qualifying time this past weekend.
The Goldfins posted 466 personal best short course times with 16 Goldfins posting 100% personal best times. Congratulations to: Zoe Benning, Kai Burke, Katelyn Carleton, Tatum Felton, Abby Gebhardt, Daniel Hofer, Miya McClelland, Obi Nguyen, Angelo Pallaro, Lucas Peng, Joseph Shao, Rhett Smith, Tori Strydom, Cienna Wilde, Claire Yeo, and Kevin Zhang on this achievement.
