Goldfins Swimmer of the Month - December 2019 - Caeli Granger

Caeli had a tremendous month of December.  Caeli pushed herself, and her group to faster training times than ever before, which lead to some great racing.  At Prairie Winter Invitational, Caeli a best time in 6 of her 7 races, including dropping 37s in the 800 FR!  Four days after PWI Caeli qualified for Western Canadian Championships at our Christmas Time Trial held on December 19.  After a short break for the holidays Caeli returned to training more determined than ever. 

Goldfins Swimmer of the Month - January 2020 - Merieliss Lyle

Saskatoon Goldfins Swimmer of the Month for January 2020 is Merieliss Lyle.  Merieliss has had a steady dedication towards her goals for this entire season, and it has been exciting to watch it pay off this January.  Merieliss has been stepping up in training sessions, by choosing challenging pacing times while attempting to achieve training set goal times.  Merieliss has been committed to improving her Fly stroke execution.  This commitment helped her in realizing a time improvement of -13.36 in the 100M Fly at the 2020 Prairie Optmist Cup Swim Meet where she also posted 4 new Saskatchewan Long Course A Time Standards.  Super swimming Merieliss!
