Goldfins Social Engagement and Distance Training Program

Jennifer Robinson

As families across the globe are asked to stay home to help contain the spread of COVID 19, parents of children in all age groups are left with a lot of time each day that could be filled with structured activities.

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is offering the Goldfins Social Engagement and Distance Training Program.

The Club will be offering continued Group Zoom sessions and a cardio program with coach monitoring.  Coaches will continue to engage with their groups as they have been the past two weeks, at or around the same schedule.  The schedule will depend on what comes from the schools, any ZOOM training will take place around the school schedule.  Additionally, by taking part in this program you will receive a monthly Squad Coach Q & A with parents, a Head Coach run online stroke clinics and a Head Coach lead mental skill session for swimmers.

All of this will be offered for 25% of your monthly fee.  Taking part in this program will allow for your swimmer to stay connected to their friends on the team, to stay fit, and to stay engaged during this time of Social Distancing.

To date, the Goldfins have registered 93 Goldfins swimmers representing White 1 through to the Gold 18 groups and 10 Goldfins Masters swimmers.  The Club continues to take registrations for this unique training program.  To register, contact Steven at [email protected].

Thank you for your continued support of the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club.
