Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club Announces March 2022 Swimmers of the Month

Zoe Zimonick (Gold 14) Zoe had a remarkable month of training, as she prepared to compete as a member of the Goldfins Senior Provincial Team at 2022 Man/SK Winter Championships.

Zoe’s preparation and dedication to training regiments paid off as she stepped up courageously posting 100% personal bests at the Man/SK Championships.   

Zoe brought home 2- GOLD, 2 -Silver, 3 Bronze individual medals.  Zoe swam the anchor leg on the Goldfins Girls 12 & U 200M Freestyle Relay winning Silver.  She swam the lead-off leg on the Goldfins Girls 12 & U 200M Medley Relay winning Silver. 

Zoe was awarded the Saskatchewan Female 12 & Under High Point Age Group Award.  Zoe posted 220 Individual Points

Oliver Wruck (White 3) - Oliver had a great month of training and competing. In March, White 3 was challenged with the 400 Freestyle time trial, and Oliver improved significantly by dropping 47 seconds! Oliver has been working very hard in practice and it has been showing in his racing. He competed at the Junior Provincials meet held in Moose Jaw, where he achieved 100% personal bests and earned his first Sask Junior Provincial ‘A’ time in the 50 Freestyle. He was also awarded Most Improved Swimmer in the 11 and under age category. Congratulations Oliver!
