Goldfins Masters to Race in the Goldfins Spring Masters Swim Meet - May 8, 2022

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club will be racing at the Shaw Centre, Saskatoon, SK, on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in the Saskatoon Goldfins Spring Masters Meet.  There will be three (3) masters swim club competing in this event with 26 swimmers challenging themselves by competing in various events. 

The Goldfins Masters will be represented by 17 swimmers.  Goldfins Masters Head Coach, Gary Cheung offered some insight as to the significance of hosting this meet.

The Goldfins Spring Masters Meet will be hosted at Shaw Centre on May 8, 2022. Seventeen Goldfins Masters swimmers are looking to get their final race this weekend.   "All our swimmers are ready to race one or several more times this Sunday to celebrate Mother’s Day.”  Cheung continued, “I am sure they will all swim very well and have a great time."

The meet’s schedule is as follows:

Sunday, May 8, 2022 – Racing at: 2:00 PM - Shaw Centre
 

Events: 400M Freestyle/400M IM, 100M Freestyle, 200M IM, 200M Backstroke/200M Breaststroke/200M Fly, 50M Freestyle, 100M Fly/100M Backstroke/100M Breaststroke, 200M Freestyle, 50M Fly/50M Backstroke/50M Breaststroke, 800M Freestyle, 4 X 50M Freestyle Relays, 4 X 50M Medley Relays

Age Group Meet: Warm-Up: 10:00 AM & Competition: 10:30 AM

Events: 200M Freestyle, 100M Fly, 50M Freestyle, 50M Breaststroke, 50M Backstroke, 25M Fly, 100 & 200 IM
