Saskaatoon Goldfins Masters Break Long Course Records at the Al Anderson's Winter Classic

4 Goldfins Masters competed at Al Anderson’s Winter Classic at Shaw Centre this weekend (February 3-5, 2023). They had broken in total of 10 Masters LC Provincial records 

Heather Hynes broke 2 LC Masters Provincial Records in the 40-44 Women category.  She set new record in the 50 Breaststroke with a posted time of 40.28 in preliminary and lowered it to 39.71 in finals. 

 

Darcy Pawlik broke 3 LC Masters Provincial Records in the 40-44 Men category.  He set new records in 100 Fly with a time of 1:14.72, 100 Back with a time of 1:12.12, 50 Free with a time of 27.49. 

 

Brody Fowler broke 1 LC Masters Provincial Records in the 35-39 Men category.  He set new records in 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:13.46. 

 

Highlights of the meet belonged to Kendra Chernoff, a former age group national record holder in 100 Butterfly.  She broke numerous provincial records in every events she swum at including 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:19.71, 100 Fly with a time of 1:03.94, 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:00.23 and 400 IM with a time of 5:43.59. 

 

Saskatoon Goldfins Masters will compete again at the Regina Masters Invitational - March 25, 2023 - Regina, SK.
