TREX A/C

Dino cup was a monumental success for Trex A and C. We had several new festival standards met in Trex C including some new qualifiers such as Ella Douglas in the 100 Br, Katarina Gibbs in the 50 and 100 Fr, 100 Ba and 100 IM, Stella Liu in the 100 back and 100 IM and Vanessa Swiderski in the 100 Br. Camilo Estrada, Josh Teevens, Scarlett Rodgers, and Junwen Tian also picked up extra festival standards. Maxine Clark and Andrew Fenning from Gold 11  finished first place in every event, with Maxine Clark breaking several club records. In Trex A, Zoey Janzen added a few provincial standards to her repertoire such as 50 Fr, 50 Ba, 100 Ba and 50 Fly. Congratulations as well to all the Dino’s who achieved aggregate awards. Remember all the hard work you have been doing in training is why you had such a successful meet and why you achieve those best times. Keep up the good work!

TREX B

Trex B had a great meet at Dino Cup this past weekend! This was an especially fun meet for Trex as for the first time this season, they were the oldest squad in attendance! This offered our Trex program a great opportunity to be role models to the younger swimmers and show them the ropes. Trex B saw almost 100% best times and lots of new festival times. We are excited to keep this momentum going into Fernie next week!

SHOULDICE 1/2

The Shouldice coaches are very proud of the 81 swimmers who participated in Dino Cup. The meet represented a lot of firsts for our swimmers. Coach Andres, Coach Chloe, Coach Jordan, Coach Katie, Coach Kinsey and Coach Nella were thrilled to see how strong the FUNdamentals of our swimmers are becoming. Congratulations to all of the Shouldice swimmers on their many, many ribbons! Thank you to all the parents who spent their weekend on the pool deck or brought food for hospitality - you are a huge part of making this meet a success.

CHURCHILL 1/2/3

Coach Ashley, Coach Emilie, Coach Jasmine, Coach Noah, Coach Rylan and Coach Youssef are very proud of the 85 Dinos from Churchill Squad who swam at Dino Cup this year. Some of our swimmers are 6 and 7 years old and swam 100 free and 200 free for the first time and some of our 8 and 9 year olds swam 50 fly and 200 IM for the first time. The attitude and effort was outstanding and our swimmers showed that their FUNdamentals of swimming are developing very well. Congratulations to all our swimmers who took home lots and lots of ribbons! And thank you to all the parents who helped make this meet such a success.
