As with any sport, the challenge of providing the best opportunities for our swimmers comes at a price.

Our club has a strong support system of parents and coaches who work year round on ways to help lower the burden on our swimmer’s families.

We depend heavily on fundraising efforts such as raffles, charity bingo, barbecues, bottle drives, comedy night, swim meets, etc.

We currently are looking to collaborate with local businesses that have an interest in the youth in their community and would like to support our common goals.

Why do we need sponsors?

As with any sport, the cost of maintaining a strong and competitive program is high. Whitby Dolphins is a not-for-profit, amateur sport organization and our day-to-day club runs largely on the help of parent volunteers.  Your sponsorship to the Whitby Dolphins Swim Club would go directly towards the cost of pool time, coaching, and equipment.

Where can the Whitby Dolphins be seen in the Community?

Given our growing numbers, swimmers can be found in various pools in Whitby and its surrounding areas. Swimmers are training in pools and participating in dryland training at the Boys and Girls Club pool in Oshawa, in Whitby at the Anne Ottenbrite pool/Iroquois Sports Complex and at the Pan Am pool in Scarborough. Notably, as a team, we have also grown in reputation, having hosted local, regional and international meets this past season.

What is the return on your investment?

It’s good business - we recognize you as valuable partner, enhancing your community profile.

It’s good for kids - your contribution helps build swimmers and allows them to achieve their goals.

It’s good for the club - your financial support helps us ensure our club’s present and future.

Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting our swimmers and our club.
