It is so great to see the sponsorships coming in.  Keep them coming! We have now posted the Swim-A-Thon event here.  The link provides the event, check in, and swim details.  We need volunteers! We have opened the job sign up link as well.

Way to go Judy Jansen Miller, who has currently raised the most funds!  The Blue Group is currently in the lead for the pizza party!

Swim Meets--

  • For those of you interested in attending the Woodland Pirate Pentathlon, please only submit entries for Saturday, October 27 only.  (If you entered Sunday already let Coach Brenda know ASAP). 
  • For those interested we have an opportunity to attend another meet on Sunday, October 28.  It is the Sweet Treat Pentathlon held at the Laguna Creek Racquet Club.  Entry forms are available on deck.  Entries must be dropped off to the Racquet Club or mailed in.  No online entries are available.
  • Please let Coach Brenda know if your swimmer is entered in ANY meets and what they are swimming  We want to make sure our coaches are aware of what swimmers are attending the different meets, so we don't miss them.   
  • For those of you attending thePumpkin Meet in Lodi this weekend (October 20-21, 2018).  Have your swimmer meet the coaches at the end of the pool closest to the scoreboard and gym at 8am for warm up.  Coach Jared will be there on Saturday and Coach Matt on Sunday.  There are no designated team areas at the USA meets.  A good place to camp out at this pool is outside the pool gates by the tennis courts.  Again, please let Coach Brenda know if your swimmer is attending the meet. 


  • Congratulations to our swimmers that have attended the last few swim meets!  All have had best times!  Congrats to our Gold Group swimmers--Tucker Yeates, Jacob Juico, Carmen Simpson and Helen Tang.  And congrats to Jacob for earning JO (Junio Olympics) and Far Western cuts and Tucker for JO cuts.  Great swims with only a months training! 


It was great hearing our swimmers and parents goals for the 2018-2019 season.  We look forward to helping our swimmers achieve the different goals they have set.  Parents, thank you for providing the opportunity for your swimmer(s) to do something they are passionate about.  If you have not turned in a goal form yet, please do so.  They are available online and on deck.

To help our swimmers further achieve their goals it is important for our swimmers get a good night sleep, hydrate, and eat nutritiously 75-80% of the time. And swimmers, you need to plan ahead and make sure you are getting your homework, school projects and reports done ahead of time so you can not only attend practice but also get a good night sleep.

Masters Swimmers please submit your goals to Coach Brenda too.  What is it you want to obtain out of the Masters Program?

What excites you about swimming?  Remember this on the good days, but the days it is hard as well.  This will help empower you through the hurdle.  Remember, if it was always easy, we would never get better.
