2022 Husky Invitational

Eight of our TRA Gold group members traveled to Washington for the Husky Invitational held December 2-4, 2022. Some highlights from our very successful weekend:

Rebecca Diaconescu was the woman's high point winner, winning 5 of her 6 events, and finishing second to teammate Madeleine Hebert in her 6th event. Rebecca won the 500 free (4:51.26), the 50 free (22.64), the 100 backstroke (53.69), the 200 backstroke (1:57.82) and the 100 free (49.41) and was second in the 200 free (1:47.24).

Madeleine Hebert was the woman's high point runner up, winning the 200 freestyle (1:46.26), and finishing second in the 50 free (22.77), 100 back (56.35), 200 back (2:01.29), and 100 free (49.58).

Keanu Lee won the 200 fly (1:50.23) and also placed in the 100 fly (50.29), 200 IM (1:54.52) and 400 IM (4:04.66).

Alice Ciobanu finished 9th in the 500 free (5:05.02), was second in the 400 IM (4:31.12), 6th in the 200 fly (2:09.00) and 6th in the 1650 free (17.42.09).

Momo Utsumi was 5th in the 1650 freestyle (17.41.15).

Jordan Clarke swam new best times in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.05) and 50 free (25.65).

Charlotte Berndt was 12th in the 500 free (5:08.81), sixth in the 200 back (2:05.30) and 9th in the 1650 (17:43.88).
