TRA Mid-Winter Invite Wrap Up

Jennifer Nolan

TRA hosted the Mid-Winter Invite at UNLV January 20-22. Over 550 athletes from three states competed over three days, and had a fabulous time. Our amazing parents stepped up to make the meet a huge success and everyone is looking forward to returning to Vegas to swim with us again.

We had many great swims and best times, and several swimmers tried events they had never swum before. We also had two swimmers (Ethan Garza and William Deng) swimming in their first meet ever!

Friday night started with Michelle Stana swimming her first 500 freestyle, finishing third overall in the 11-12 girls event with a time of 6:15.56.
