Hello All, We are still not back at our pool and are waiting for Long Beach City College campus to reopen to the public. I know many of you are patiently waiting and we sincerely appreciate your support. I really have no idea as to when we will be allowed back but we will return as soon as we can. Until then, I hope you all are doing well and miss you all. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions at [email protected] Bradley Adamson Viking...

Hello Viking Families, I hope you all are doing well. Unfortunately, we will not be able to get back into the pool this Fall. Long Beach City College will remain closed until the Spring Semester. My hope is that they will allow us to return sometime in the Spring, if not earlier as LA County restrictions loosen. In the meantime, we will continue to offer open water practices at the Colorado Lagoon for Gold and Blue Groups. If your swimmer is not in either of those groups and are interested...

Congrats to all the Viking Masters who raced at UCLA today! A lot of sunshine, fast races (well, pretty fast), and fun. In addition to all our individual events, we were able to have two teams in each relay (200 medley and 200 free), which were especially fun. Capped it off with some great food and conversation!

Congratulations to all our swimmers on a great job with the lapathon! Fifty swimmers completed an awesome amount of laps. From 1200 yards (our youngest swimmers) all the way up to 5500 yards! We'll be putting together the individual totals soon. Great job!!

Congrats to all who swam at the Metro Champs meet - Viking Aquatics had an awesome finish! The results are posted at the SoCal site HERE, and have also been uploaded to individual accounts. The Team Records have also been updated.  Finally, Viking Aquatics has 5 swimmers in a total of 13 events competing this coming week at the SoCal Junior Olympics - congrats to Sarah Hernandez, Emma Kerr, Brenna Knapp, Kirsten Miller, and Alana Murray!

Great news - Viking Aquatics now has its own online store! Shirts, sweatpants, hats, etc - all with logos, and additional customizeable options! Payment is made online, and shipped directly to you. Just look for the "SpiritWear" logo on the website:   Go Vikings!

Please note that the Yacht Club 12 & under dual meet has been rescheduled for the 24th.

Great job all at the SBRWS - we had several age-division awards from Age group up through the 3 mile swim - plus a lot of fun! Thanks to Coach Dave and Brant!

Twenty Vikings (including a brave 7-yr-old!) had an great time last Saturday at Seal Beach getting ready for this Saturday's race/swim. The age-groupers practiced their entries/exits, and the seniors went out for 1-mile "tide-stick" swim. Looking forward to some fast and fun swims - Go Vikings!
