WHAT?
- The Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) is a mandatory USA Swimming program designed to prevent the abuse of athletes.

USA Swimming requires that all clubs keep a copy of MAAPP acknowledgments on file (paper or electronic) by all Non-Athlete members (parents and guardians).
WHO?
- Parents/Guardians: Participating non-members (e.g. Parent TIMERS, meet marshals, meet computer operators, etc.)
- Adult HS Seniors: All USA Swimming adult athlete members (18 yr old HS seniors, as soon as they turn 18)
- LSC and club adult staff and board members
- Any other adult authorized to have regular contact with or authority over a minor athlete. Collectively “Applicable Adult(s)”
