Hayley Palmer Head Swim Coach

Coach Hayley Palmer joined the CBAC coaching staff in the Fall of 2019 as the new Head Swim Team Coach.

Hayley comes to us most recently from the British International School in Phuket, Thailand.  She is a two-time New Zealand Olympian as well as a Commonwealth Games medalist.
While Hayley obviously has impressive swimming credentials but what really stands out is her coaching IQ. She is passionate about building a strong foundation in young athletes and helping them reach their full potential.
Beyond just being a great swim coach, we believe Hayley will be a fantastic fit with our team.  She has great experience in working with a wide range of ages and abilities in diverse international programs such as ours.

During her spare time, she enjoys watching rugby and exploring her new home… Cayman!

Alissa Moberg Asst Swim Coach | Head Synchro Coach

Alissa joined CBAC coaching staff in December of 2017.

Her Cayman story started in July 2016 where she joined the team at Fitness Connection as swim instructor, aqua fitness coach and founder of Caymanite Synchro-- the first competitive synchronized swimming team in The Cayman Islands.

As a result of joining the CBAC team, Caymanite Synchro is now a part of the aquatic club and was able to represent Cayman at the 2018 CARIFTA games in Kingston, Jamaica.
The team has also competed at the Novice & Intermediate World Championships as well as the West Zone Chamionships in Walnut Creek, California.

Prior to coaching in Cayman, she was a part of the Forest Lake Swim Team coaching staff as well as Head Coach for several synchronized swimming programs based in Minnesota. In 2012, she moved to Kingston, Jamaica to lead the Synchro Stars as well as the Jamaican National Team. After coaching in Jamaica, she took up the Head Coaching positions at both Forest Lake, Minnesota and St. Paul, Minnesota.

In her spare time, Alissa loves to be by the sea, spend time with friends and her husband AJ.

Grant Ferguson Swim School Coordinator

Coach Grant Ferguson joined the CBAC coaching staff in the Fall of 2019 as the Swim School Coordinator/Assistant Swim Coach.

Coach Grant brings a ton of energy and excitement to the pool deck and we are thrilled to see that transfer over to our swimmers!

Grant comes to us from Knysna, South Africa, where he founded and operated the Knysna Swim Academy and Knysna Dragons Swim Team.  The program was a comprehensive aquatics program encompassing learn to swim, swim team, open water, and masters -- all run by coach Grant.

Grant is a dynamic, motivated individual and is incredibly passionate about what he does. His experience running a comprehensive, family-oriented program where he oversaw all aspects of swimming have made him an awesome fit for CBAC and a tremendous asset as we continue to evolve and grow.

During his spare time, Grant enjoys spending time with his wife, Karen, and his two sons.
