Swimmer of the Month

Israel Tadich

Israel has really shown improvement in his approach to coming to swim practice. In the last month, he has become exceptionally optimistic and very engaged during practice. My proudest moment in watching Israel the last month was him going out of his way to help a new swimmer adjust to our practices. He would help explain drills and encourage his new lane-mate. I was blown away and very proud to see Israel take such initiative. Great work, Israel! Keep it up!

Swimmer of the Month

Rowan Nelson

Rowan exemplifies what it means to be working hard in the pool. She is an attentive listener and takes the time to help those around her if they are confused or need a nudge in the right direction. She is always the first to get out to pull tarps and never complains. She is sweet, dedicated, and an asset to those in her lane. She is always trying her hardest during every set and, as a result, has seen a lot of improvements in the pool. Keep up the hard work, Rowan!

Swimmer of the Month

Brooke Mize

It has been a pleasure coaching Brooke for the past few months. She recently moved up into my group just a few months ago, and has been such a hard worker and has showed great dedication at every practice since then. Hard work pays off as her improvements have been showing greatly at practice and at meets. Keep up the great work Brooke!

Amber is such a hard worker. She comes to practice every day and gives 100%! She always attacks new thigns with a smile on her face, without complaining. She has made some huge jump in her swims this year as well. I can't wait to see where we go from here. Keep up the hard work Amber!

Swimmer of the Month

Alyssa Rojas

We have all heard that hard work pays off, but it’s GREAT to actually SEE it happening.  Alyssa had gone over year without a best time in her best events; however, in practice she was CRUSHING the work she did last year in her best strokes.  She was disappointed in the fall and winter meets when she didn’t hit her goals, but she would come back to practice and be more determined to power through underwater kicking and elevate her race pace work!  The pay-off was huge!  100% best times in the March meet and busted through lots of road blocks that had been plaguing her for over a year!  Keep it going!  Have faith that hard work will keep working!
