Stingray Swimmer of the Month

Gracyn Crough

Gracyn always comes to practice on time and is aware of what is going on throughout the practice. She never hesitates to ask questions about what is going on or how to improve during practice. She even demonstrates the drills for the other swimmers. Gracyn has grown so much since our first practice together and I cannot wait to see how she continues to grow in her swimming career!

Heidi has had a great season. She aged up from her previous age group at the end of the year, and has continued to work hard despite the faster times. She comes to practice and is an active member at all times. She has started the process of moving up to Advance Age Group and I cannot wait to see her crush anything she tries next! Great season Heidi, keep up the hard work!

Gold Swimmer of the Month

Sabal Dangi

Sabal has had a roller coaster ride in his swimming these past few months. Without his attitude of constant improvement, he wouldn't be in the successful spot he is in right now! He spent much of the past 2 seasons with mixed results in his best events, but stayed very dilligent on making stroke changes, improving underwater kicking, and working on his weak strokes. The build up was long and hard, but the breakthrough has been awesome! At the FDST meet, while he was quite tired, he managed nearly all best times, including a 15 second drop in the 500 and over 20 second drop in the 400IM! Well earned and well deserved! Keep moving forward Sabal!
