New Members

New Members: Contact Us with info about your swimmer's age and background in swimming, if any.
Please proceed with a tryout if you are unsure. If we decide that you can participate without trying out, we will let you know, and you can register. 
The test consists of swimming 25 yards, or one pool length, of freestyle and backstroke unassisted and nonstop. The swimmer would only need to complete 25 yards of freestyle to make it into our groups. For those with fear of entering the water, the anxiety of pool depth, and difficulty covering the pool's one length, we can suggest some private lessons.
For Private lessons, contact us to check available spots. No, tryout is needed.

To Register, Visit the Join Now! Tab and create an account > pick up the location and group of your choice. There are no different levels, as our programs are based on performance-level technique training. You just choose the program/days/time/location of your convenience. Registration on this site is only for the ElitSwim - Pre Competitive. Check the bottom of this page for more info/steps on registering.
 


Returning Members: 

Contact Us to activate your account. Next, an email will be sent to your mailbox with instructions to log in. Update all personal and credit card info and register your child to the location and group of your choice. Your account is now active!

Evaluation Process
ElitSwim - (Pre-Competitive)
 

Month: February

Days: Every Saturday  

Times: 9:15am - 10am

Location: San Ramon Olympic Pool/Cal High(9900 Broadmoor Dr. San Ramon CA 94583)

Days/times/locations might change at any time and will be updated often on this page. Please check before you join us.

  • Ask for ElitSwim directly when you arrive at the pool for your evaluation, and let our ElitSwim staff know you're attending one. Bring the form along with you. 
  • If you can't make it to our evaluation days or times, contact us to arrange an alternate time and day for your assessment.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The requirements for your swimmer(s) to join ElitSwim - (Pre Competitive) for our group programs are their starting age of six years old, are water safe (no coach in the water), and can swim 25 yards (one lap) unassisted in both the freestyle and backstroke without stopping. 
On Saturdays, we provide private lessons with ElitSwim if you think they can't.

ASSESSMENT/TRYOUT for Swim Lessons for the City of San Ramon:

  • You must sign in through the City's website for all assessments and tryouts; do not attend the times and dates listed on this site or the website of the ElitSwim Club. The assessment process only through the Swim Lessons registered days and times provides an instructor inside the water during your swimmer assessment.
     
  • ElitSwim (Swim Lessons) for the City of San Ramon: City of San Ramon Aquatics website
    Join the swim lessons programs for all ages offered by ElitSwim for the City of San Ramon.
    Please visit the City of San Ramon Aquatics site directly for registration and all inquiries about scheduling, group placement(assessment), cancelations, etc.
     
  • The Swim Lessons for the City program runs from April through September each year.
     
  • Please Do Not Register on this site unless you are interested and qualified only for our ElitSwim (Pre-Competitive) Programs.
    If there hasn't been a prior evaluation or approved communication by our staff, do not register for groups or private events on our website, as you will forfeit the registration fee.

Steps to Register for ElitSwim - Pre-Competitive:
Visit our Join Now! Tab to choose your location and begin your registration for our programs.

  • Enter or Update ACCOUNT (family) information. 
    • Email addresses, phone numbers, SMS information.
  • Select or Add MEMBERS (student-athletes). 
    • Enter or Update MEMBER information.
    • Email addresses, and phone numbers, if permitted.
  • Agree to Team Membership, Releases, and Waivers.
  • Pay your registration fee.
  • Click SAVE
  • Receive an email receipt and the next steps!

NEXT:

  • Your registration will be in "pending approval" status until approved by Swim Office. Contact Us when you register with information on when you would like your swimmer(s) to start, as the first month's fees are prorated.
    To suspend your account requires 30 days in advance notice.
  • All monthly dues are automatically withdrawn from your CC in your account.
    No other action is required on your end.
