Blake Brewer

Director of Operations

Blake Brewer is the Swim School Director of Operations for Southeastern Swim School as well as Southeastern Swim Club. He is the head coach of the Lionfish Silver group and brings a high level of energy and passion to SSC. He is an assistant coach with the High School and Masters groups as well.

Previously, Blake has fulfilled various coaching and aquatics director duties with Carmel Swim Club, the Bridgewater Club, Azionaqua, and Lawrence Swim Team, where he was the head coach of the Lawrence Central High School team. In these positions, he coached a wide variety of ages, abilities, and experience levels.

Blake is a Zionsville and Ball State University graduate who lives in Greenfield with his wife, Jordan, their son Liam Michael and their dog, Toby. Swimming is ingrained in who he is, and his passion is helping young athletes learn and understand a sport that he has loved for over 20 years.

He loves coaching with Southeastern because it feels like a family - from the close-knit coaching staff to the enthusiasm of the athletes, he is proud to be part of a team that helps each other every day.

Heather Streett

Swim School Lead Manager & Head Instructor

Heather Streett has been with Southeastern for over 25 years and has played a formative role in the development of countless state champions, All-Americans, team captains, and collegiate athletes. It often starts with Coach Heather - she is SSC's Director of Recruitment, runs the swim lesson program, and has been a summer league coach for almost 20 years. Come to the HSE high school end-of-year banquet and you'll hear senior speeches that look back to where it all began, with Coach Heather. (She probably took their senior photos, too!)

A graduate of Zionsville High School and DePauw University, Heather swam for 12 years and in high school was a three-year state meet qualifier. She loves swimming because it is such a great activity to strengthen the whole body, is a life-long activity, and makes you safer around the water. She also loves all the skills the sport teaches, including time management, goal-setting, developing great habits, handling adversity, team spirit, and lasting friendships.

She and her husband Kenny live in Fishers with their son, Keegan, and daughter, Harper. She has a love for photography, travel, and spending time with family and friends.

Rachel Burke

Swim School Manager

Rachel is a lifelong swimmer who recently finished her collegiate swimming career at Butler, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and Mathematics. In her time as a Bulldog, she was a 3-time Big East Conference qualifier in the backstroke and mid-distance freestyle events.

In May 2018, Rachel was the USMS Masters National Champion in the 1000-yard freestyle. As a high school and club swimmer, she was a state qualifier, sectional champion, and conference champion in multiple events. She attended Mt. Vernon High School near Evansville.

Rachel loves sharing her passion for swimming with young athletes. Her goal is always to help swimmers be the best they can be, and more importantly, have fun! Many of her best friendships were made by being in the water, and she says being involved with swimming helped her become the person she is today.

Rachel is no stranger to Southeastern's culture - in high school, Rachel and her team joined SSC's summer Senior Trip three times. She counts these memories among her favorite experiences as an athlete. The trip not only helped her find what kind of school she wanted to attend for college but also helped her build relationships with other swimmers and coaches, eventually leading her to coaching with SSC and instructing with Southeastern Swim School!

Jenny Hanselmann

Head Adaptive Swim Instructor

Jenny Hanselmann is a certified Swim Whisperer instructor. She has been swimming her whole life, competing through high school and college. A 21-time NCAA All-American at the University of Tennessee, she majored in Therapeutic Recreation. She lives in Carmel with her husband, Christian, and three children: Liam, Olivia, and Riley. Children with special needs have always had a special place in her heart, but even more so because Liam has autism. She loves doing Adaptive Swim Lessons because it combines two of her favorite things: working with children with special needs and swimming!
