We want to send a huge thank you to all of the swimmers and families who participated in Session II. Overall, this session had one of the largest number of participants in the entire history of the Lawrence Swim School! Thank you to all of the swim school families who helped make this possible.
We have decided to consolidate our Session IV lessons. We will offer swim lessons at 9:30, 10:00, and 10:30 during the final session. Lessons will no longer be offered at 11:00.
Thank you to all of the swimmers and their families who participated in Session I of the Lawrence Swim School! Our instructors had a blast working with the swimmers and it was great seeing the progress they made.

We wanted to let everyone know that all of our instructors are CPR certified. They all have a strong swimming history and have swam competitively for many years. Many of them lifeguard during the summer, as well.
We just learned that KU's Robinson Natatorium will be closed on Monday, July 5th, which is when we were scheduled to begin Session III. To make up for the pool being closed on Monday, we will be holding lessons on Friday, July 9th. Week two of Session III will remain as previously scheduled. Session III Week 1: Tuesday, July 6th - Friday, July 9th Week 2: Monday, July 12th - Thursday, July 15th
We had a great kick-off to summer lessons today with our Session I group! Thank you to all of the swimmers and families who are joining us for Session I. It was good to see many familiar faces of swimmers who have participated in Swim School in the past, and it was a pleasure to meet all of the new swimmers.
We have had a minor change in the program for this summer. This summer we have been presented with the opportunity to hold our swim school at KU's Robinson Natatorium. We are really excited about this partnership with KU! Although we won't be out in the sun, being at the KU pool will provide us with more consistency as there were a number of days last summer when the weather was too cold for lessons.
