We hope that all CMSA swimmers can learn to set realistic, achievable goals for themselves and see practice as a means to reaching their goals. Below is a list of several time standards for various levels of swim meets.  Swimmers can use these times to guide them in the goal setting process. Time standards are a meet management tool, designed to manage the number of swimmers in the meet.  Time standards are NOT designed to define a swimmers ability.  Athletes will mature at different rates and long term athlete development is our coaching staff’s goal.
