Excel Aquatics manages summer league teams at the request of the Williamson County Parks and Recreation, the City of Murfreesboro, and the Muletown Rec Center. The summer season typically runs late May through the end of June. Teams swim at the following locations:
- Brentwood Barracudas - Brentwood Indoor Sports Complex
- Fairview Sharks - Fairview Rec Center
- Franklin Frogs - Franklin Rec Center
- Longview Seadragons - Longview Rec Center in Spring Hill
- Muletown Ducks - Muletown Rec Center
- Murfreesboro Comets - Sportscom in Murfreesboro
- Nolensville Hurricanes - Nolensville Rec Center
In general, summer league teams accept swimmers based on the following criteria:
- 6 & Under - Ability to swim entire length of the pool, Freestyle with face in the water. Exceptions might be made if a child can't quite swim the length, at the coaches discretion.
- 7-8 year olds – Ability to swim entire length of the pool, Freestyle with face in the water breathing to the side. Ability to swim backstroke is helpful, but not required.
- 9 & 10 year olds – Ability to swim entire length of pool, Freestyle (face in the water) and Backstroke. A working knowledge of Butterfly and Breaststroke is helpful, but not required.
- 11 & Older – Ability to swim 2 lengths of pool Freestyle (face in the water) and Backstroke. A working knowledge of Buuterfly and Breaststroke is helpful, but not required.
