Tarrant County has one of the highest drowning rates in Texas and The Fort Worth Swim School is committed to reducing this preventable tragedy through its partnership with:

Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition

"The Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition is a community non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent drowning deaths in Fort Worth, Texas.  This mission is achieved through no to low cost, mobile, swimming and water safety instruction to children and adults as well as parent/caregiver education.  We have leveraged national and local organizations to provide education and instruction in apartment, home owner association and community pools.  Our goal is to make the Fort Worth community safe in and around water."

TFWSS founder James Fike sits on the board of this wonderful non-profit, through which we have donated over $10,000 worth of free swim lessons to low-income students in our community.
