Morgan Edwards

Coach Morgan grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he swam for the San Leandro Beavers, one of the AAU (NGA for USA Swimming at that time) teams that pioneered age group swimming in California.

He enjoyed success as a high school swimmer where he attained All America recognition in two events: 50 freestyle (10th) and 200 freestyle relay (2nd).

He came to Colorado to attend the University of Denver on an athletic scholarship where he was a four-year letterman, Conference Champion and qualified for the Division I NCAA Swimming Championships.

While a student at DU, he served as Head Coach of Skyline Acres Swim Team (Mile High Summer League) for four seasons. While a graduate student, he was the Assistant Coach for the DU Intercollegiate Swimming Program and also a coach for the DU Hilltoppers age group team (now TOPS).

In the time since his college years, he has participated as a masters swimmer and triathlete. During that time his professional career was in the telecommunications industry.

Currently during the summer months, when he does not coach with ACES, he is the Head Coach of the Stroh Ranch - Anthology Dolphins Swim Team (200 swimmers/10 coaches).

In addition to his swimming interests, he is also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Denver; he also completed post-graduate studies at Williams College.
