The information below is for the 2019 Western Zone Age Group Championships. We will post information for the 2020 Zone meet as soon as possible.


​This is a Team Colorado event for age group swimmers (14 & Under), wherein participants must meet specific qualification standards. For further 2019 Western Zone AG Championship information, please go to Colorado Swimming Zone Page.

2019 Western Zone Selection Criteria

  • 2019 Western Zone Age Group Championship Time Standards - two standards will be listed, Western Zone Qualifying (used by other Western Zone teams) and Colorado Qualifying

  • Swimmers must achieve times on/before July 1, 2019.

  • Please note, the CSI Long Course State Championships will not fall under the July 1st deadline.  Those times made during the Long Course State meet will not be considered for Zone Team qualification.

  • Applications for team consideration must be received no later than July 1, 2019, as team selection will be from the pool of applicants ONLY (find application below).

  • Colorado Zone Team will use the following Tier Selection Process, in order of Priority Level, until team max of 80 swimmers has been reached.....

Important Swimmer Forms


Chaperone Information

  • Chaperones for Team Colorado are parents with swimmer(s) attending the Western Zone Championship meet who have expressed interest in chaperoning the trip by submitting an application.  Two female and two male parents are chosen, preferably with past experience on a team trip or a Colorado Swimming sponsored travel trip in a chaperone capacity.  Those individuals accepted are sponsored by Colorado Swimming and are expected to travel, stay at the hotel with the team, and participate in all team meals and transportation.

  • All chaperones MUST be USA Swimming registered, which includes a background check done through USA Swimming.

  • Chaperones will be chosen after the team has been selected.
