White Group
Our White Group is a positive introduction to year round competitive swimming for 6 to 9 year olds. Swimmers will learn skills to help them with their balance, posture, coordination, and stroke efficiency (distance per stroke), building a strong technique base for all four competitive strokes (an IM mindset). Our goal is to instill good practice habits, work ethic, and an enjoyment of the sport that will increase short-term growth, but more importantly, enhance long-term success to help swimmers advance through our training groups.

Blue Group
Swimmers will continue to follow our team philosophy of improved technique with all four strokes, along with strong practice habits/work ethic, will lead to better short-term and long-term success. Athletes, 9 to 11 year olds, will be challenged with dynamic stroke drills to improve balance, body position, core strength, and stroke efficiency; learning to use our entire body to help us become stronger, faster, and more economical. Conditioning (aerobic) with interval training begins to take on an important role.

Silver Group
Swimmers will continue to sharpen their technical skills with all four strokes to improve stroke efficiency, with an increased emphasis on the swimmer's aerobic and anaerobic development. Athletes, 11 to 13 year olds, will be challenged with several new expectations, including increased yardage, set length, attendance and meet requirements. Swimmers will also be asked to take more responsibility/ownership in their training; goal setting, swimmer/coach communication, and meet preparation.

Black Group
Swimmers have now reached the highest level in our age group progression. With this opportunity comes increased responsibilities and expectations with their training, attendance, swim meet participation, and swimmer/coach communication. Swimmers, 12 to 14 year olds, will be training to acheive a higher aerobic and anaerobic capacity while continuing to refine their technical skills. Our goal with the Black Group is to prepare swimmers for a smooth transition into our Senior Program.
